"Richard, as you probably know, I broke my back in a motorcycle accident ten weeks ago. Since then I have worn a back brace and have had limited movement. Two days ago I started using your treadwell for twenty minutes in the morning and another twenty minutes in the evening. Even after the first day I could feel a major reduction in my pain level. Last night I was able to sleep through the night for the first time since the accident. I look forward to continued use of your product and continued reduction in my pain." - Rocky V.

Welcome to the official home page of Treadwell® Corporation

Welcome to the "Future of Wellness" technology.  The Treadwell® device is a revolutionary new way to improve the quality of life for virtually anyone.  As a non-invasive device, the Treadwell® was designed for ease of use and low exertion.  It has very low resistance and is, therefore, not a rigorous exercise device.  Its primary function is to increase the blood flow velocity.  Many medical conditions respond favorably.

Anecdotal reports from over 400 subjects has shown remarkable results.  Calf pain, night cramps, restless leg syndrome (RLS), ulcers of the leg, neuropathy, achilles tendinitis and various athletic injuries have reportedly improved through the use of the Treadwell®.  Swelling of the legs from a variety of conditions such as heart disease (like congestive heart failure), kidney disease, lymphedema, and radiation therapy have also been mitigated with its use.  Poor circulation of the legs and feet such as is found in diabetes mellitus (DM), peripheral arterial disease (PAD), venostatic ulcers and venous disease (venostasis) have also responded favorably through this treatment methodology.  Theoretically, it could help prevent deep vein thrombosis (DVT).

What is the Treadwell® P51.2?

The Treadwell® P51.2 is an inertia-assisted treadle designed to aid in the treatment of many common physical problems by increasing blood flow velocity in the lower extremities. As a non-invasive device, the Treadwell® P51.2 can be used by virtually anyone.

Users of this device simply need to be seated to engage the pedal. Once the pedal has begun to move, the inertia technology assists the user throughout the session. The machine is not a true exercise device in that it has low resistance and is non-fatiguing, allowing users to expend almost no exertion during use. It is designed to allow for use in a confined space such as under a desk or wherever one chooses. Users experience very little movement in the rest of their bodies enabling them to continue with their normal activities such as reading, writing, typing, talking on the telephone, etc. while treading.

Initial reports have indicated positive results without any side effects.

How does the Treadwell® P51.2 work?

There is a lot more to learn about Treadwell® and we are confident that medical researchers will continue to study it extensively. We know that the tightening of the calf muscles that occurs during the up and down motion of the ankle squeezes the veins in the legs. Because leg veins have valves to prevent back-flow, this squeezing action propels the blood up the legs toward the heart. Some call this mechanism a “calf pump”.

By moving more blood out of the leg veins, we believe that using the Treadwell® reduces hydrostatic pressure in the legs, allowing fluid in the tissues to reenter the capillaries. Edema fluid can thus flow from the tissues into the bloodstream to be carried back to the heart and ultimately to the kidneys to be eliminated.

The reason for increased arterial blood flow velocity into the legs is something for much more medical research, but here are a couple of theories. By removing fluid from the capillaries and veins of the legs, using the Treadwell® reduces resistance in the vascular system, allowing freshly oxygenated blood to more easily enter the limbs to nourish the tissues. Furthermore, we have reason to believe that arterial circulation around the body is increased in general, including, of course, the lower extremities. As we have already noted, there is much to learn about this simple but amazing device.
